Usage:

1. Make sure you have the latest driver for your webcam, and a recent version of Skype (above v3.6).
   Note: You need to configure your webcam in Skype before going to the next step.
2. Install this software and then click on "Enable HD Video"
3. Quit and restart Skype
4. Enjoy sending HD Video to your contacts
5. You may want to check that your processor isn't overloaded, use windows task manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del)

Tip:

Check that HD resolution is enabled, in skype

1. Go to the 'Tools' Menu,
2. Clic the 'Options...' menu item,
3. Clic the 'Advanced' Tab,
4. Clic the 'Connection' sub-tab,
5. Clic the 'Display technical info during calls' checkbox.

Make sure you have Microsoft .NET 3.5 SP1 installed, click here for .NET 3.5 SP1 download

If you get the "Cannot Start Application" error while installing, this is a common bug of Microsoft, so please do the following operations:

1. In windows file explorer, in the navigation bar type:
   "%USERPROFILE%\local settings\Application Data\IsolatedStorage"
   (without the double quotes), and then press enter.
   Then, select all folders you see and delete them (they are just installation temporary files that Microsoft forgot).
2. Repeat the above operation in:
   "%USERPROFILE%\local settings\Apps\2.0\Data"

Known Limitations:

• Only Skype for Windows is supported.
• If the bandwidth is too low or your CPU usage is above 90%, Skype will not send HD video even with this hack.
